Day 19! I'd like to think that I'm a good guy, that I'm living a good life by being a good person and walking with love and grace. I'd like to think that I give more than I take and that I make things better than when I found them. I'd like to think that I lift people up, not tear them down. All of that takes practice and courage and perseverance and work to continue to be who you are as you have a life. And on this planet, the yin and yang, the good and evil, the up and the down, are all the time. Each side lobbies to be heard, to pull you this way or that. Me, I'm on the plus side, the love side. This song is for those voices that are yelling at me from the other side. It is about telling them to take a hike and taking a stand to be me.
