22/55 'Run Highway Run' (1999)
Day 22! I wrote this song for my truck, Big Red, a Ford F150 XLT 4x4! I bought this truck in 1993 and still have it today! Big Red will turn 25 years old this August. I bought it with 26 miles on it and it now has 276,000+. Big Red has been my friend and partner in crime in covering the US with love and song. We have traveled many miles together and to me, this hunk of metal, rubber and glass is something that is alive and talks with me and takes care of me and my stuff. I know it sounds strange, but I love you Big Red! May we have many more birthdays and many more miles. Run Highway Run!!
