29/55 'When I'm With You' (2002)
Day 29! This is a song I wrote for my family. It was inspired by how special it is to see people, how special it is to have them in your presence. I'm a single guy and travel a lot and don't get to see my family or friends on a regular basis. I carry them all in my heart and in my head. They go with me everywhere I go, but those times when we are actually together mean the most and are the most precious. When you can reach out and touch that person and hug that person and tell them face to face how much you love them, well, that's just priceless in my book because the people I love are priceless. Those moments we share with our loved ones, when we are with them, mean the world to me.
