3/55 'Rising Tides (1990)
Day 3! I wrote this song on the shores of Lake Tahoe. I moved there in 1989 to teach skiing and lived there for 12 years. Come Spring, Summer and Fall, I would sit by the water and play and sing and write. 'Tahoe' is a Washoe Indian word that means 'Big Water' and we were just getting acquainted. This song is about the learning and the growing over life and sharing that knowledge and growth to bring love and positivity to the world. A hopeful early ballad. More to come...
