5/55 'Leaving on a Monday' (1990)
Day 5! And am leaving on a Monday! I wrote this song when I was moving from Lake Tahoe back to my home state of Ohio to go back and finish my last year of college at Ohio State. The song is one of awakening inside oneself. It is also full of satire from someone trying to understand a world that doesn't make sense to them. It is a release of all those things that one doesn't align with and make a choice towards the things that one does align with. Walk your line y'all. I'm 'Leaving on a Monday'!
